The Exhibition of the All-Ukrainian Cultural and Artistic Project “Military Field Art” in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
The exhibition in Lithuania is taking place thanks to the cooperation of the “Military Field Art” project (Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine), the charitable organization “With Ukraine!” and the Office of Public Administration and the Committee on Municipalities of the Chancellery of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. With the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine.

Ammunition, military equipment, fragments of weapons and shells, transformed by Ukrainian artists into objects of cultural value and turned into works of art, are presented for free viewing to the European community and guests of Vilnius on the Day of Restoration of Lithuanian Independence.
The exhibition is presented by the project organizers Larisa Harbuzenko – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Art Education of the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University and Natalia Chen – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Multimedia Design of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and Alena Kulevska, representative of the NGO “Ukrainian House”.

At the grand opening of the exhibition in the Seimas, in a warm atmosphere of congratulations and statements about the importance of developing cooperation with Ukraine, the following spoke: Chairman of the Committee on Public Administration and Local Self-Government Daiva Zhebelenė, former chairman Ricardas Juška, head of the Lithuania-Ukraine group Saulius Luščykas, Lithuanian politician Sakalas Horodetskyi, and Deputy Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Viktor Gamotskyi.
At the opening, an address by the author and curator of the project, Pavlo Rotar, was read out:
“It is very pleasing that, despite everything, our joint Ukrainian-Lithuanian exhibition took place. I am very grateful to the Lithuanian side, to everyone who took part in the preparation of the exhibition, and very grateful to the visitors who, through this exhibition, saw a piece of the soul of our Ukrainian people. I sincerely congratulate and wish all the best to everyone involved in the exhibition.”
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Lithuania took an active part in organizing the event. With the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine employees, several Ukrainian classes of children who were in Lithuania during the military operations in Ukraine were able to attend the opening of the exhibition.
“The exhibits of Military Field Art in Europe carry a part of Ukrainian artists, a part of our country. Each of the exhibits is unique and demonstrates the desire of Ukrainians for peace and creativity, even during war,” – co-organizer of the project in Lithuania, head of the charitable organization “With Ukraine!”, Volodymyr Pokrasenko.
